These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and RenewRN ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the RenewRN website and application located at renewrn.net (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
RenewRN is a web-based organizational tool designed to help nursing professionals track license renewal deadlines, log continuing education (CE) hours, and receive renewal reminders. The Service is intended solely as a personal productivity and record-keeping aid. RenewRN does not interact with, submit information to, or retrieve information from any state Board of Nursing or regulatory body on your behalf.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. NOTHING IN THE SERVICE CONSTITUTES PROFESSIONAL ADVICE, LEGAL ADVICE, REGULATORY GUIDANCE, OR A RECOMMENDATION OF ANY KIND.
RenewRN does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information displayed within the Service, including but not limited to state-specific CE requirements, renewal deadlines, or license status information. State nursing regulations change frequently, and the Service may not reflect the most current requirements.
You are solely responsible for verifying all license renewal requirements, CE hour obligations, and deadlines directly with your state Board of Nursing or applicable regulatory authority. Do not rely on the Service as your sole source of regulatory information. Failure to independently verify requirements may result in lapsed licensure, fines, or other professional consequences for which RenewRN bears no responsibility.

We reserve the right to suspend or disable your account if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms.

Free Tier: The Service offers a free tier that includes core license tracking, CE hour logging, and renewal reminder features at no charge. Free tier features may change at our discretion.
Pro Subscriptions: The RenewRN Pro tier is available as a monthly subscription ($4.99/month) or annual subscription ($39.99/year). All payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the applicable rate until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account Settings page or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until your current paid period expires. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice via email. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, logos, and all other content, is owned by RenewRN and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT (A) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS; (B) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; (C) THE INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING CE REQUIREMENTS AND RENEWAL DEADLINES, WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT; OR (D) ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RENEWRN, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00).
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES ARISING FROM: MISSED LICENSE RENEWAL DEADLINES; INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE CE HOUR TRACKING; LAPSED LICENSURE; PROFESSIONAL DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS; LOST EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES; OR ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RenewRN and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your reliance on any information provided by the Service for professional licensing or regulatory compliance purposes.
By You: You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our systems, subject to any legal retention obligations and data that has already been included in anonymized, aggregated datasets.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. We may terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if your account has been inactive for an extended period.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14 of these Terms shall survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RenewRN regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
