APRNs must complete all 30 hours at the level of their specific APRN role. Kansas is a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) member state. Licenses expire on the last day of the nurse's birth month biennially, and Kansas does not offer a grace period. Late applications require full reinstatement. The renewal window opens 90 days before the expiration date.
